This mommy to be isn't a pink girl but has always been in love with The Little Mermaid and became the inspiration for this Under the Sea themed Baby Shower. Pops of color included purple, teal, and a bit of pink.
The tables had netting over a purple tablecloth with sea shells scattered and were topped with a floral fish bowl centerpiece. The centerpiece was definitely a highlight of the party and was brought to life with live fish. The fish bowl was surrounded with beautiful purple, blue, and pink hydrangeas that could be seen from all angles.
Another highlight was the candy/ dessert table, streamers were used in the backdrop to carry the pops of colors and a simple yet fabulous mermaid added the perfect touch. (Home goods find) We did a teal tablecloth also topped with netting and all the candy coordinated with the theme such as sea pearls and gummy fish. I used my scrapbooking skills and made some cute mermaid fins to add to small blue Jell-O cups. The gorgeous and delicious cake and cupcakes was provided by Jazzy cupcakes.

Jellyfish lanterns placed throughout the house helped create the under the sea atmosphere along with our natural and fresh flower décor.
